Media & Interviews with Tony Royle

A collection of podcasts, talks and interviews featuring Tony Royle — sharing his personal health journey, practical lifestyle insights for metabolic and heart health, and clear explanations of how to think critically about health claims in the media.

Fasting and Exercise: is it Safe?

I was recently asked this question by a client and thought it might be useful to record a short video to make my thoughts on this matter accessible to more people.

The short answer is, 'yes it is' ... but there are important nuances that need to be appreciated.

Obesity ... the Insulin Connection

Many people are now struggling with their weight and few understand the role insulin is playing in driving their condition.

In this video I discuss why, so often, those suffering from type-2 diabetes are also overweight, and how simple changes in diet can help fix these problems and transform the health and shape of the body.

The Climate Agenda

        and Health

The climate agenda has been rolling on for decades and impacts people's health decisions in ways many do not appreciate. In this talk I spell out some of the connections and how best to navigate the attempts to skew our perception, perspective, and behaviour.

You Don't Need to Live with

           Type-2 Diabetes

Millions of people live with type-2 diabetes. Few of them understand why they developed the disease in the first place and even fewer grasp it is a condition that, for most, is completely reversible via minor adjustments to diet and lifestyle. In this video I cover some of the basics and offer sufferers some hope they can get off the drugs and return to good health.

Doctors of Medicine Are Exactly

                     That!

We live in a world in which doctors of medicine are mistakenly associated with what we call our 'healthcare' systems. They are assumed to have been taught about health at medical school but, in fact, they are only taught about how to use allopathic drugs to mask symptoms of disease.

In this 'musing' I explain how this situation came about and how best to deal with it. Understanding the way the medical system is designed to operate is a key part of being able to avoid its pitfalls.

Musings about Cholesterol                and Statins

I have been asked to talk more about various aspects of health using a video format rather than a written form, so here is my first offering in which I discuss a few important aspects of the cholesterol fraud that has been going on for my entire life.

Most of the people I work with are taking statins when I first meet them. Needless to say, none are taking them by the time I have finished with them!

I hope you can take something useful from the video if you find a spare 20 minutes to watch it. Just click on the arrow to start it rolling.

Reversing Diabetes, Obesity and Heart Disease

From Heart Attack to Patient Advocacy (Diet & Health Today with Zoë Harcombe)

In this conversation, Tony Royle shares how a heart attack became the turning point that pushed him from a successful flying career into patient advocacy. He talks candidly about medication challenges, what he learned the hard way, and the lifestyle shifts (especially diet and exercise) that helped him rebuild his health—alongside a bigger message about personal responsibility, curiosity, and learning to think critically.

The Mathematics of Deception  - How Governments and the MS Media Maintain Their Illusions.

Tony Royle returns to discuss how numbers, charts, and statistics can be presented in ways that shape perception and reinforce a chosen narrative. In simple, easy-to-follow language, he walks through five common techniques he believes are used to influence public understanding—and why learning to “read the maths” matters.
